<p>A hose leveller with an electrical levelling indicator is designed for use with two fluid containers (1) connected by a hose. The device avoids operator errors and difficulties associated with visual comparison methods, partic. where determination of height difference is required. It also eliminates the complicated setting up of contact probe balancers which also have a tendency to lose fluid during use. Both containers are hermetically sealed press chambers with an associated pressure detector. The containers and the connecting hose are completely filed with fluid. When the containers are at the same height the press indicators give the same output signal. A height difference produces a corresp. signal difference. The signals are evaluated and compared in an electronic measurement and amplifier circuit connected to an electrical indicator.</p> |
