<p>A thermal lagging consists of an insulating mat of glass cloth with sealed join at the edges. The mat is coated with a weldable thermplastic polyurethane dispersion on each side a long the edges at the sealing join. For bends and other complicated parts of the pipework, areas of mat are preformed into shape and size to be laid round e.g. in two halves, again with suitable overlap for the join. Inexpensive, satisfactory appearance, requires no further treatment, moisture-proof.</p> |
