<p>The circuit finds application in remote indication equipment where it may be necessary to connect two circuit to supplied of opposite polarity at the same time. Hitherto two switches have been employed which may lead to time differences. In the circuit the supplied (Q1, Q2) have one unlike pole permanently connected together, and the loads (R1, R2) lie in the leads from the opposite pole. The load terminal on the side away from the supply is connected, in each case, to the common supply connection by a diode (D1, D2) polarised to prevent current flow. A switch (K) is placed between the two load and diode common points. With the switch closed both circuits are energised simultaneously as both diodes are forward biased by the opposite supply (Q1, D2; Q2, D1). The switch may be a transistor or other solid state device.</p> |
