1500151 Endless track drive sprockets CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 18 July 1975 [6 Sept 1974] 30304/75 Heading B7H An endless track drive sprocket has U-shaped notches 19 between adjacent teeth 18 in which hardened metal inserts 20 are received, the inserts being retained by tabs 22 on the inserts which are received in notches 23 of the hub or by pins extending through the hub and engaging apertures in the tabs (Fig. 5, 7, not shown). Pairs of tabs may be provided at each end of the insert, or at the centre of its under side. The notches may be formed between the upper surface of the teeth and a removable plate attached thereto. Resilient cushioning members 27 may be provided between the hub and inserts. |
