SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of joining members and sections of bottom shield by welding; at first assembling and welding brackets and making in them basic holes with diameter less than finished off diameter of all structural members by values of shiftings and deformations after assembling and welding; then in separate fixtures assembling and welding members for making separate assembled units for further assembling and mutually welding in order to form sections; then assembling and welding sections for making welded structure placed in rigid attachment; fixing structure according to basic holes of brackets; working it along outer diameter and boring basic holes up to finish dimension; making openings for yokes, bosses and nuts to be welded to structure; making structural members with thickness exceeding finish dimension by value calculated while taking into account afterwelding deforming in range of elastic deformation being no more than limit values for given structure. EFFECT: manufacture of structure having predetermined dimensions and welded joints free from deformations, warping and cracking. 3 cl, 4 dwg
