<p>The nozzle forms a jet of liquid in thin strip form from a feed pipe, being particularly for use with a continuous coloured laser. It is formed by two lips (5, 6) symmetrical in relation to a diametral plane, bearing against each other and the feed pipe (1). Each lip has a flat inclined face followed by a short one parallel to this plane, thus forming with the other a passage of decreasing section followed by a short one of constant section corresponding to the section of the jet strip. Both the flat surfaces of the passage and the nozzle outlet face are optically polished.</p> |
