The drawing board has a height and incline adjustable board which is supported by a vertically adjustable movable column (5) mounted in a fixed support column. The displacement mechanism is provided with two concentrically guided springs which lie in the movable column (5) and are connected together at their upper end by a threaded head which supports guide wings against a distortion of the two springs during tightening. The upper threaded head is connected to the movable column by a tension rod whilst the springs are connected at their lower end to a tension cable and at their other end to a champing mechanism.
