Foodstuff for pigs. Compsn. comprises (1) 1-methyl-2-isopropyl-5-nitroimidazole or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, (2) a sulphamide or a salt thereof with a base (3) a 2,4-diamino-5-(benzyl-trisubstituted 2',4',5') pyrimidine or an acid addition salt thereof which acts as a sulphamide potentiator (4) a non-toxic foodstuff or carrier. Example of (3) include 2,4-diamino-5-(2'-methyl-4',5'-dimethoxybenzyl) pyrimidine. The active ingredients pref. comprise between 0.0011-0.0275 parts by wt. per 100 parts of foodstuff. Compn. accelerates growth. |
