<p>The fire door does not involve the large use of metal and is adaptable to all uses whilst conforming to fire regulations. It can be used for ordinary or sliding doors and provided with a variety of finishes to suit the location. The door frame consists of two uprights and a lintel; made from lamellar asbestos cement and has a rebate into which the door itself fits, this being also made in lamellar asbestos cement and having two uprights and two cross beams. The door is hinged with special steel hinges and secured by a lock which bolts the door at three points along the edge of the door.</p> |
