<p>The shutter is for a silo outlet funnel or discharge pipe, having an adjustable slide working in guides near the opening. The slide (21) is of flexible material, winding on and off a roller (16) outside the opening (10). The roller can be arranged to rotate through less than 270 deg. between the fully open and fully shut positions. In the fully shut position the shutter can enclose the roller for 90 deg., having an end bent over (22) and secured in the roller, whose shaft can run in bearings mounted on the extended guides. This shaft (13) can be at a distance to the side of the opening equal to or greater than half the roller dia.</p> |
