<p>The mouthpiece, for the control of a functional operation by a physically handicapped person, comprises a measuring assembly which responds to speed or pressure of air expelled by the mouth and provides a control value for the operation accordingly. A second measuring assembly responds to the shape of the buccal cavity defined by gums, cheeks, tongue, teeth, lips and opt. by the components of the measuring assemblies located in the mouth, and provides a second control value for the operation accordingly.
