A Technetium-99m labelled tin colloid for liver scanning is made by adding Technetium-99m, as an aqueous solution of pertechnetate ion TcO4-, to a reagent comprising one part by weight of sodium, potassium or ammonium fluoride and from 0.00075 to 0.75 parts by weight of stannous tin.
