PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of suitably adopting a sensorless drive method.SOLUTION: A motor M comprises: a 12-slot stator 10 in which 12 teeth 11a extending radially inward are provided in a circumferential direction, and a coil 12 is wound around the teeth 11a; and a 8-magnetic pole rotor 20 that is configured so that four magnets 23 each configures one magnetic pole are embedded and arranged in a circumferential direction of a rotor core 22 arranged inside the stator 10, and that salient poles 22b provided on the rotor core 22 are arranged between the respective magnets 23 with an air gap K, and that the salient poles 22b function as the other magnetic pole. A rotational position of the rotor 20 is detected on the basis of waveforms of induction voltages between respective phases, and a drive current to be supplied to the coil 12 is controlled. In addition, when a both-end electric angle of one magnetic pole is defined as A, and a both-end electric angle of the other magnetic pole is defined as B, setting is performed so as to satisfy A=(6.10×10×B-8.69×10×B+1.14×10)±8%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
