Multiple injection of different plastics into a single mould - to give a unified moulding of several regions joined by transition zones

Injection moulding methods claimed in which different mixes are injected at the same, through different nozzles, so as to give a finished piece having defined regions of different physical or chemical characteristics with transition zones between; in the transition zones the injected plastics are intimately mixed. According to the plastics used, the transition zones display either a chemical bonding or a (possibly fibre-reinforced) physical bonding.
