The magnetic amplifier transmission line or coupling has a three limb magnetic circuit (21-23). On the centre limb is a winding (26) connected to the terminals (1, 2) receiving the signal to be transmitted. On the outside limbs (22, 23) are wound two half windings (26, 27). The windings are connected in series between terminals (3, 4). They are connected to a constant amplitude alternating current source (30). The sense of the windings (26, 27) is such that they produce in the magnetic circuit a flux which passes through the end pieces (24, 25) and the limbs (22, 23) of the magnetic circuit without saturation. On the lateral limbs (22, 23) are also two half winding s(28, 29). These windings (28, 29) are connected in series to the output terminals (5, 6) of the magnetic amplifier. The number of turns on the input winding (26) is much higher than that of the other windings.
|
