A floor may comprise steel joints 22 with an edge framing member 24 at each end and possibly along one or each longitudinal edge, the edge framing member comprising flanges bent up or down at their edges to form lips 32. The walls comprise upper and lower channels 46, 44 with studs 48 and inner and outer panels 56. Wiring ducts 59 are formed within the walls and channels 44 are located by pins 18 on framing members 16 at ground level, and by pins 52 on channels 46, links 54 being provided at each elevated floor level.
