摘要 <p>The skeleton frame building system makes use of prefabricated reinforced, prestressed or plain concrete frame elements, all in the same form, assembled with two, three or four converging at nodal points. Their abutting ends slope at 45 deg. to their centre planes, and their end edges are bevelled. Ceiling or roof structures are laid on the frame elements, with their direction of stressing alternating from one field to the next. In the case of multi-storeyed buildings, wall plates, like those of the frame elements, can serve to stabilise the skeleton frame. The frame elements are interchangeable within the structure, with overall even loading.</p>
