<p>1418362 Electric couplings PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 3 April 1973 [6 April 1972] 15906/73 Heading H2E A one-piece connector of sheet metal comprises a portion 20 and a relatively inclined portion 21 having at least one opening or recess 23 and a tongue 24 cut from the portion of the sheet defining the recess, such that a wire 30 inserted through the recess is gripped between the tip of the tongue 25 and the portion 30. As shown the connector has a second tongue 24 and cavity 22 and a bush 26 connected to a conductor 31. The connector may be fitted in an insulating housing (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown) and held therein by an insulating pin of the housing engaging the tongue 24 through the recess 22. A tongue may be cut from an edge of the portion 21 (Figs. 1 and 2, not shown). A perforated cover (Figs. 8-10, not shown) may be fitted over the convector and housing.</p> |
