<p>The vacuum cleaner housing is provided with a detachable lid and a suction pipe (1) wherein the dust filter (6) is provided with a scraper (2) which has an annular portion (7) enclosing the suction pipe (1) and is mounted in bearings (3) on the lid by means of two arms. The annular member (7) and the arms are connected together by articulated joints (5) and the ends (4) of the arms are bent at an angle. To remove the dust filter, the lid is removed together with the filter suspended from it. The filter is stripped of its dirt by the centre annular part of the scraper which is moved towards the end of the pipe by pressing the ends of the arms against the lid. The filter can thus drop into a container at the bottom without any manual contact thereby allowing a clean disposal of the used filter.</p> |
