<p>1462440 Rolling dough T HAYASHI 13 Dec 1974 [28 March 1974] 54078/74 Heading B5A An apparatus for rolling dough comprises rotatable rollers 1, which move in an oval path, a plurality of conveyer belts 14, 15 and 16 facing the lower straight portion of the oval path, the speed of each conveyer belt being greater than that of its nearest upstream neighbour, the conveyer belts and the rollers all moving in the same direction, and means to rotate the rollers in a direction opposite to the direction of their orbital motion. This means may comprise a bar which engages the end of the roller and imparts rotation thereto by friction; the bar is preferably bent upwards at each end so that the roller is engaged and starts to rotate before contacting the dough. Rotating brushes 17 and 18 may be provided, in which case the speeds d and f must be such that c<d<e<f<g.</p> |
