The cladding consists of insulating plates nailed or glued to the walls, and is interrupted at intervals by horizontal strips (1) of non-inflammable material. These strips can be situated at intervals corresponding to the height of a storey, typically at ceiling levels, while the thickness of a strip can be less than that of a ceiling. The upper edge of each strip can be at a lower level than the upper edge of the ceiling, while the lower edge is above that of the ceiling lower edge. There can also be vertical strips of non-inflammable material, and mineral wool can typically be used for the strips.
|
