<p>The heating circuit for an electric cooker, consists of three heating element sections. There is a protective switch for preventing overheating. A multi-stage switch is used for selecting cooling setting (fast, slow), and a second switch is used to change from 'fast heating' to 'continuous heating' as in 2118407. The second switch (S2) is temperature dependent and switches in and out two (A,C) of the 3 heating sections when the multi-stage switch is set to 'continuous heating'. The remaining section (B) is not switched. The second switch has a threshold below that of the protection switch.</p> |
