Blood may flow downwardly through filter using a pumped supply from the human or a blood bank. The particles may be retained between screens 29 and 31. A one way air release vent 25 may be fitted. The interior of the particles may be ZrO 2 , graphite or silicon. The housing may be of glass or carbon coated stainless steel. |
