Serial light source prodn. line - has testing device detecting evacuation holes in lamp electrode stems

The mechanised serial production of light sources has a checking device determining the existance of a pumping hole connecting e.g. the inside of an incandescent lamp bulb in the lamp stem with the evacuation tube. The checking device contains a light carrier consisting of a light emitter and a light receiver. The checking device contains two nozzles (6) arranged mutually at an angle not exceeding 180 deg. The nozzles are provided in a plane inclined to the pinch plane of the tested lamp stem at an angle not exceeding 85 deg. A flow filling element (7) is provided above the evacuation tube (3) in the extension of the evacuation tube axis.
