<p>Filter comprises a frame to which the folded filter material is rigidly connected in sealing relationship by an elastic casting cpd. pref. polyurethane-based, which thus form the peripheral seal for the filter material. The filter material may consist of individual filter packages which are connectd to each other by sealing connections e.g. casting cpd. The filter material is held in position while the sealing cpd. is poured in to form walls which extend beyond the filter package into the frame and shorter walls which extend at least as far as the filter packages. The sealing cpd. forms the peripheral seal on the open side of the frame integrally with the walls.</p> |
