<p>The scissors have two pivoted scissor halves. The scissor cutting blades are held on backing levers made from steel, nonferrous metals, timber or plastics. The cutting blades can be replaced. The screw type pivot ensures good cutting contact between blades and the cutting blades are not loaded on return movement. The scissor support levers (1, 2) have profiled seats for cutting blades. These cutting blades may have two cutting edges so that they can be turned round. The cutting blades (3) consist of special steel and their cutting edges are ground hollow or straight. The screw type pivot (4) produces an angle such that on cutting the cutting edges contact so that the cut formed has no burr.</p> |
