The base of the transistor is connected through a resistor to a reference potential and the received h.f. voltage is applied to it through a capacitor. The voltage generated by the oscillator is applied to the emitter of the transistor. A diode is provided between the base of the transistor and the reference potential, with its forward direction opposite to that of the base-emitter path, so that shifting of the working point toward lower slope steepness is prevented.
