The seal gives a watertight joint for a connector piece between two vertical panels, or material adhering only to concrete, and on a horizontally cast concrete plate. It comprises a hollow expanding sealing body (17), bearing against the connector piece (6), and embedded in the concrete plate. Expansion can be effected by pumping in hardening cement, and the body can be accommodated in recesses formed in the two panels (3), resting on foot plates embedded in the panels. The body can be U-shaped, its transverse portion bearing against the connector piece. The latter can comprise two expanding hoses (8) fitting in mating recesses (7) in the panels, and joined together by a strip against which the sealing body bears.
