Si(CH 2 ) n Y, where A, B, C are CH 3 , C 2 H 5 , CH 3 O or C 2 H 5 O, at least one being capable of reacting with OH in the carrier, n is 2 or 3, and Y is -CHO, -CH 2 OC 6 H 4 CHO, or a dimethyl or diethyl acetal thereof. Specified silanes are (MeO) 3 SiC 3 H 5 (OMe) 2 , (EtO) 3 SiC 3 H 5 - (OEt) 2 , (EtO) 3 SiC 4 H 7 (OEt) 2 , (MeO) 2 MeSiC 3 H 5 - (OEt) 2 , (EtO) 3 SiC 3 H 6 -O-C 6 H 5 -CH(OEt) 2 and (MeO) 3 SiC 3 H 6 -O-C 6 H 5 -CH(OMe) 2 . Specified minerals are brick, glass, silicates, metal oxides and silica. Specified enzymes are trypsin, glucoamylase, invertase, papain, urease and #- galactosidase. The enzyme-carrier complex may be stabilized by hydrogenation. |
