Method comprises applying onto a hose blank which has been built-up on an angled mandrel, a suitably pre-formed textile envelope, near that point where the branch piece is intended to be located, coating the textile envelope with a rubber or plastics; and completing the vulcanisation of polymerisation of the blank. The prods. are used as connections or pipes in motor vehicles. Process dispenses with specially inserted metal branch pieces. Any number of branch pieces may be moulded on to the "master" hose in any places. The pressure and bursting strength of the hose remains unimpaired. There are no obstructions to the flow of the medium to be conveyed inside the hose and the branch pieces.
