The plate and the cutter of the electric razor head have metallic coatings of different hardness. The hardness coefficient of the coating on the plate is in a ratio 4:10 to that of the coating on the cutter. The effective surface contact of the corresponding cutting surfaces is so large, that it results in an elastic deformation during frictional stress. The cutter plate has cutting edges reinforced by a coating of a hard metal, which penetrates the base material even in sub microscopic zones.
