Crossbar switch is intended for connecting incoming and outgoing lines. It has switching rails in an adjustable row and column pattern. At their intersection points the column rails carry contact fingers deflectable in all directions as the coupling elements. The row rails are formed by flat strips with bent-out tags (KL), forming with the row rails (ZS) a sharp angle. Each contact finger (KF) carries at its free end a contact sleeve (KH), and all the contact fingers are secured in a common stationary contact support (KT) independent of the switch rails. A stop (A) is provided for each contact finger, which presses the contact sleeve against the sharp angle formed by the tag.
