PURPOSE: A software lease method on internet and PC communication is to make software be leased with image file on virtual CD-ROM drive and to improve software lease method epoch-makingly as it may be easily downloaded and all leasing conditions may be set. CONSTITUTION: While proper software is saved with image file on virtual CD-ROM drive, when the lessee inputs leasing conditions in a leasing request, Header is created to control image file and the header may control the proper software. The virtual CD-ROM drive is to read CD without CD and run CD program only if making virtual CD-ROM drive to replace physical CD-ROM drive with software type in computer hard disc and saving all information of CD-ROM with image file. In the image file on virtual CD-ROM drive, all information and data in physical CD-ROM exist as file on computer disc.
