PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval design system for coil springs which enables each client to easily and immediately retrieve a coil spring, immediately know its estimate, and order it when ordering the coil spring in a catalog and further enables the client to immediately determine specifications, know the estimate, and evaluate the durability of the coil spring even when ordering the coil spring which is not in the catalog. SOLUTION: In this system, a server 10 which has information regarding specifications of coil springs is connected to a plurality of clients 1 through the Internet 2. The server 10 is equipped with a retrieving means 11 which selects a coil spring out of coil springs having predetermined specifications by setting conditions and performing retrieval and a designing means 13 which designs a coil spring with new specifications by setting necessary conditions. The clients 1 are enabled to order retrieved or designed coil springs through the Internet 1. |
