<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easy-to-manufacture three-dimensional gather structure for an absorbent article having three-dimensional gathers on both sides of a front surface side, the structure making it possible to utilize an absorbent as an effective absorption surface widely on the rear part side of the absorbent article. <P>SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1A is provided with: the absorbent 4 interposed between a liquid permeable front surface sheet 3 and a liquid impermeable back surface sheet 2; and the three-dimensional gathers BS which are provided on both sides of the front surface side of the sanitary napkin, the absorbent 4 being enlarged so that the width on the rear end part side is larger than the absorbent width at a crotch part, wherein the three-dimensional gathers BS have one, two or more fold-back parts at a position more on the rear part side than the vicinity of a fluid discharge part H, and a width B<SB>2</SB>between the three-dimensional gathers BS is increased more than the fluid discharge part H on the rear end side of the sanitary napkin 1A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
