<p>A replication origin device, when data is stored in a disk which is a storage area, intercepts a signal on the storage of the data, grasps to which position of the disk the writing is made, acquires physical position information, and transmits the data together with the position information to a replication destination device. The replication destination device , when receiving the position information and the data transmitted from the replication origin device, writes the data to the position indicated by the position information in the disk which is the storage area. This makes it possible to easily and inexpensively operate the volume replication between platforms with more flexibility and mobility to an existing environment.</p> |
