<p>For producing planks etc. which are machined with a pattern of grooves etc., a woodworking machine is used which thus can form imitation hand cut or rustic members. This machine has a long bed or work table formed by rollers (3 to 8) at right angles to the plank (14). Spaced along the bed, between these rollers, are rotary cutting wheels (18-22) mounted on a drive shaft (16) parallel to the plank. Supported on the bed of the machine is a work guide or positioning plate (27) mounted on edge. The drive shaft is rotated so that the cutting blades (26) mounted on the wheels tend to hold the plank against the work guide plate (27). This drive shaft can be swung about a vertical axis. An automatic adjustable work feed unit (10) can be fitted, this having upper pressure wheels.</p> |
