Impact joining process for producing a cooking vessel

The method concerns an impact joining process for producing a cooking vessel (11) with an encapsulated layer, and consists of the following steps: (a) positioning of an intermediate layer on the bottom wall of the vessel structure; (b) positioning of a capping element over the intermediate layer; (c) production of an impact pressure on the capping element, the intermediate layer and the bottom wall of the vessel structure so that the intermediate layer is compressed at most by 16 %; and (d) production of a cooking vessel (11) with an essentially plane bottom and an encapsulated layer.
