<p>PURPOSE:To prevent transmission of packets in the lump by sending a packet from a first-in first-out storage device and starting a timer simultaneously so as to stop the transmission of the packet till a time comes to a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:An output request signal REQ starts a multiplexer circuit 5a to extract a packet stored in a first-in first-out storage device 1 (FIFO1) 10-1 and sends it to a transmission line. In this case, an AND circuit 20-1 receiving a signal from a timer 20-1 and the request signal REQ is provided to prevent a packet signal from being outputted to the circuit 5a by the signal REQ only. Moreover, it is required that a time from the start by an OCSS at the output of a preceding packet by the timer 20-1 is a preset time or over. Thus, packets of same types are prevented from being sent to a line in the lump but packets are outputted at a prescribed interval or over.</p> |
