A shaft coupling comprises a flexible annular member 1 with axial sleeve portions 2 having internal splines 5 engaging external splines 4 on shaft hubs 3, the teeth 5 and corresponding hub grooves having straight parallel flanks so that the hub teeth 6 and sleeve grooves are of dovetail section to resist separation. The teeth 5 may have bevelled edges 9 to assist assembly and be provided with strengthening fabric inserts 10. Member 1 may be solid or slit through radially at one or two diametrically opposite points. |
