<p>Vaginal tampons of compressed, absorbing materials shaped in the form of round rods with attached string for removal, are wetted with a treating liquid contg. one or more active substances in soln. or suspension suitable for the treatment or disinfection of the vaginal wall. The liquid must not cause the tampon to swell and may consist of e.g. polyethyleneglycol, propyleneglycol, aliphatic alcohol, glycerine, vegetable-, animal or mineral oil or mixtures of two or more components to which known active cpds. are added.</p> |
