PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a fixing device that can prevent a contact between a rotor and an assistance member that may occur due to expansion of the rotor.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 comprises: an image forming part 100 that forms a toner image; a fixing roll 210 that rotates in contact with a sheet to which the toner image formed by the image forming part 100 is transferred; a fixing belt 230 that forms a nip part N with the fixing roll 210 into which the sheet is inserted; a peeling assistance member 250 that assists peeling of the sheet from the fixing roll 210 and forms a gap G with the fixing roll 210; and a support member 252 that movably supports the peeling assistance member 250 in a direction separating from the fixing roll 210 and separating from a conveyance path 500.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
