The present invention relates to a universal subscriber identity module (USIM)-based simple payment system in a mobile environment and a payment method thereof and, more specifically, to a USIM-based simple payment system in a mobile environment and a payment method thereof which perform a simple payment using USIM information stored in the mobile environment. The USIM-based simple payment system in a mobile environment is characterized in comprising: a code generating unit which generates a one time password (OTP) code or barcode information of payment card information by using USIM-specific information which is preregistered according to an external input signal; a validity authenticating unit which searches for a virtual key according to a payment request using the OTP code or the barcode information, and generates corresponding card company payment request information; a card permitting unit which transmits the payment request information of the validity authenticating unit to a card company server such that trade information is generated when a card payment is permitted; and a control unit.
