PURPOSE:To allow the device to be provided in addition with a function of connection to a conventional facsimile equipment on market and transmission/ reception of a facsimile signal during communication. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a FAX connection terminal section 32 connecting to a line connection terminal 34 of a facsimile equipment, a call circuit section 42 outputting a call signal of a general analog telephone set, a 2W/4W conversion circuit section 44 converting a 2-wire FAX signal into a 4-wire signal in which transmission and reception are separated, and a FAX voice band signal coding decoding circuit section 45. Moreover, the operating state of the facsimile equipment is detected by a 1st current detection circuit section 46 detecting a current of a feeding circuit section 43 giving a voltage/ current satisfying standards of a general analog telephone set to a signal at the terminal section 32 and a 1st changeover circuit section 48 switching a signal from the terminal section 32 to a call circuit section 42 or to a circuit comprising the feeding circuit section 43, the 2W/4W conversion circuit section 44 and the 1st current detection circuit section 46 to make a multiplex control request of the voice band signal of the facsimile equipment coded/decoded by a television telephone set.television conference control section 23. |
