<p>The method involves determining a critical deceleration value based on dependence between brake pressure (p) at a rear axle (HA) and deceleration (z) of a commercial vehicle after preceding service braking by extrapolation. Assigned brake pressure at the rear axle is equal to zero or the critical deceleration value corresponds to application pressure of brakes of the rear axle. Brake pressure control is carried out in such a manner that a maximum deceleration of the vehicle is limited to a value, which is smaller than the critical deceleration value.</p> |
