<p>PURPOSE: To precisely inform a state where the motion of a device exists to a user by, when sort action is under execution, coloredly displaying the shape of a sort means, and varying the displayed color according to the progressing state of the motion of the sort means. CONSTITUTION: During the use of a sorter 4, a copied paper sheet is accommodated, for example by 10 sheets, in each bin of the sorter 4. In this case, the whole shape of a device including the sorter 4 is graphically displayed in a color display section 60. When 10 sheet of paper sheets have been accommodated in the first bin 5 on the top stage, a display section corresponding to the first bin 5 turns into the first display color (illustrated by a dotted line). When 10 sheet of paper sheets have been accommodated in the second bin 5 on the second stage and the third bin 5 on the third stage, the displayed parts corresponding to the above bins turn into the first display color (illustrated by a dotted line). When the paper sheets accommodated in the first and the second bin 5 are binded by a staple unit 6, displayed sections corresponding to the first and the second bin 5 turn into the second display color (illustrated by an oblique line).</p> |
