A clamping nut (6) comprises nut cuttings (68) distributed on the periphery and radially outside an end of the nut, where the nut is screwed inside the shaft. A locking slug (8) is placed in a locking hole (682) formed by the coincidence of one of the shaft cuttings with one of the nut cuttings. The nut has a radially inner face which is smooth and widened in the direction of its free end.
