Provided is a control method of a foldable display apparatus capable of easily and conveniently converting a folding state thereof. The control method of the foldable display apparatus includes the steps of: detecting first and second touch inputs with respect to a rear surface of the foldable display apparatus, in which the rear surface is divided into first and second rear surface areas based on a folding axis of the foldable display apparatus, the first touch input is a touch input with respect to the first rear surface area, and the second touch input is a touch input with respect to the second rear surface area; detecting movement of the first touch input moving in a first direction, and the second touch input moving in a second direction different from the first direction; and converting a folding state of the foldable display apparatus, in which the folding state includes a first state that the foldable display apparatus is folded along the folding axis, and a second state that the foldable display apparatus is unfolded.
