PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide camera equipment which is convenient in portability by using a light shielding hood also as a lens protection member. SOLUTION: The camera equipment is provided with: a cabinet 1 equipped with a liquid crystal panel 4; a lens barrel 2 provided in the cabinet 1; and the light shielding hood 3 attachably/detachably attached to the periphery part of the liquid crystal panel 4. The light shielding hood 3 can be attached also to the circumference of the lens barrel 2 and used also as the lens protection member.
