The thrower has a blade for packed snow whose position can be altered in the forward horizontal direction depending on the direction in which the thrower is moving. Cleared snow is removed via a screw-like transfer device in a separate thrower region, from which a jet of snow emerges. This jet is guided by a device whose orientation can be quickly changed from one side to the other during half a revolution using a lever arm mechanism operated by an actuator. The thrower is secured by fasteners in a separate frame equipped with load indicators which prevent damage in the event of a collision. |
